"Frantz Lumber" Wins 11th Annual NM Chamber Golf Outing
May 17, 2004

Over seventy-five golfers took to the links of Sycamore Golf Club on Friday, May 14 for the eleventh annual North Manchester Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing.

Before the tournament began, golfers and hole sponsors gathered in the clubhouse for lunch, catered by the Main View Inn and Nordmann's Nook.

Prizes were awarded to the first, second and third place finishers in the scramble. This year, "Frantz Lumber" of Joe Frantz, Thom Frantz, Mike Parker and Jack Vineyard took first place honors. Second place went to the "Custom Magnetics" team of Ravi Shah, Tim McLaughlin, Jeff Kock and Chris Miller. Team "Hodge Podge," consisting of Scott Carlin, Mike Nottoli, Mike Elward, Terry Austin and Niles Reise, took third place.

Golf Committee Chair Sandy Williams was pleased with the outing's success. "Despite the rain and sudden drop in the temperature, the outing was a success," she commented. "We had over 40 hole sponsors, which is great! Without the generous support of our hole sponsors, contributors and volunteers, our annual golf outing would not be possible."
