Local Man Wins Chamber Corvette AGAIN!
August 26, 2006

Sam Pence tried his luck once again at this year's FunFest Corvette Raffle. Sam spent part of his evening at the fifteenth annual Cruizin Illusions car show in North Manchester.

Pence was announced the winner of the 1990 White Corvette when 2006 Wabash County Festival Queen, Christy Penner pulled his ticket, number 2259, from amongst thousands of hopefuls in the 12th Annual Chamber Corvette Raffle.

After buying 10 tickets the night of the raffle, Pence, wandered down to the Cruizin Illusions car show where he had the 1987 Corvette that he won last year displayed. Sam, however, did not hear his name called at the Main stage, but received quite a few cell phone calls letting him know he had won, again.

Pence was very excited that luck was with him that night and he plans on parking the white corvette next to his red corvette that he won last year.
