Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE One World Handcrafts Celebrates Winter Solstice North Manchester-What do you do on the longest night of winter? You are invited to spend this Winter Solstice, Monday, December 22, at One World Handcrafts in North Manchester from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Fort Wayne resident, Paul Fry-Miller, will be performing on the rhythmic drums. International refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given away throughout the evening. One World Handcrafts is a nonprofit organization that offers fairly traded handcrafts from around the world. One World's mission is to provide the dignity of a job with fair wages for artisans all over the world. The need is great - from the slums of New York City and Bombay, from the mountains of Appalachia and Nepal to the handicapped in Kenya. For eleven years, volunteers at One World Handcrafts have worked hard to increase the impact on poverty. Your support is greatly appreciated and gives hope to others for a brighter future. Please join us to celebrate diversity, life and hope on Winter Solstice, December 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. One World Handcrafts is located at 226 East Main Street, downtown North Manchester. For more information, call One World Handcrafts at 260/982.8540 or log on to www.oneworldhandcrafts.org or call the North Manchester Chamber of Commerce at 260.982.7644.
